Take our alumnae survey
This survey is intended for women who attended "Expanding Your Horizons" conferences during their middle, junior high or high school years. EYH conferences have been held all over the United States since 1976 and are licensed and coordinated by the EYH Network.

Your answers to the survey will help the Network track the career paths of EYH alumnae, and show that the conferences are effective in encouraging girls to pursue science and math-based careers. Feel free to contact the EYH Network if you have any questions. Please pass on the URL of this survey to any EYH alumnae you know. If you work as a scientist or engineer, or are a scientist or engineer in training, please also consider filling out this survey.

1. In approximately what year(s) did you attend an EYH conference?
2. What grade(s) were you at the time?
3. In what city was the conference held?
4. What do you recall about your reactions to the conference?

5. Did you study mathematics, science, engineering or some other math-based major as an undergraduate?

6. Did your participation in an EYH conference have any influence on your initial choice of an undergraduate major?

7. Please elaborate.

8. While you were in high school, what other factors and/or people influenced your choice of a future career?

9. What do you do now?

10. What advice would you provide to young women considering a math-based or science career? (optional)

11. We may wish to reproduce or publish material from this survey. Is it OK to do this?
